The physics lessons in the TI courses focus on classical physics with the sub-areas of mechanics and electromagnetism. The findings and methods from these sub-areas are of fundamental importance for all of physics.
This focus makes it possible to deal with the subject content both theoretically and experimentally in the depth required for a university degree.
Content mechanics:
- one and two dimensional movements
- Newton’s Laws
- power and torque
- energy and momentum
- harmonic vibrations
Content electromagnetism:
- DC circuits
- electric charge
- electric field
- magnetic field
- electromagnetic induction
Scope: 2-3 teaching units of 90 minutes each per week
